Fall 2025 Registration Information

Registration for all programs will close in August 24th. If we do not have enough players to field a team refunds will be issued to all registrants. If we have room for additional players on a team registration will re-open for those spots and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Evaluations
If we have enough registrants to field more than one team or if there are players who are uncertain which level they should be participating in, at the discretion of the coaches there may be an evaluation in the end of August.
Season Play/Schedule
All practices will be held in New London, schedules are determined by team coaches. Games will be played in New London and in surrounding towns. A district schedule will be completed once all towns close registration and submit their numbers of teams in the end of August. Games will begin the weekend following Labor Day.
Uniforms
All players will receive a uniform shirt and hat/visor included with their registration fee. It is recommended that all players in divisions higher than tee-ball wear cleats and have baseball/softball pants for games and practices.
Payment
In order for the registration process to be complete a payment must be made. A minimum payment of $1 is required. The deposit can be made on the payment screen by entering $1.00 in the custom amount box.
Scholarships
If your family is experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford the full registration fee, please email [email protected] to request an interview for a scholarship. If you have received a scholarship in the past it should not be assumed your player will receive one again, every season requires a new request. The amount that is provided depends on the funds the league has available and the number of requests. In exchange for scholarships we ask for volunteer hours from those families.
Please make these requests as soon as possible because funds are limited. Scholarships will not be provided without an interview.
New Player Fee waiver
If you have never played baseball or softball with New London Little League you can apply to have your fee waived. Please follow this link to complete the application. If you are approved you will receive an email from the City of New London with instructions to register at no cost.

Non-volunteer Fee
Each account will be charged a $25 non-volunteer fee. To have this fee returned someone representing the account must volunteer a minimum of 5 hours. After the completion of the volunteer time, a google form will need to be completed, submitted, and verified by a league representative. To receive the link to the google form, please email [email protected] The $25 fee can be applied to your account or refunded (the option will be chosen on the form).
Volunteering
We need volunteers for many different tasks, there is something for everyone! Here are a few suggestions with varying responsibilities:
- Manage or coach a team
- Keep score or pitch counts for a team
- Run the scoreboard for games
- Help run the concession stand during games
- Assist with field maintenance
- Join our board of directors
- Help recruit & register players at events
- Ask your team's manager what they need help with
- Help run clinics
- Help plan and/or execute opening day or end of season banquets
- Umpiring minors division baseball & softball games
All volunteer opportunities that involve contact with players will require a mandatory background check prior to volunteering. By signing up to volunteer on our website this background check will be conducted.
